WE ARE 20

Dental Innovations

Dental Innovations celebrates its 20th anniversary. It has been a labour of love every single day of these twenty years. Thank you to so many of you who have been with us for some part of this journey!

Welcome 2021!

Dental Innovations

A new year is here. We hope this is a good one for all of you. Covid-19 is also still here but so is hope in the form of vaccines. At Dental Innovations, we are working hard to keep all our patients and our team safe. Here is Dr. Rohit Sharma saying hello from behind the (many) masks.

WHO CERTIFICATION

Dental Innovations

In April, we trained and received the World Health Organization (WHO) certification in Covid-19 specific Infection Control protocols for healthcare practices. And the learning continues as more information comes to light. Every now and again, you will catch us doing some light reading while waiting for a training course to start.

IN-CLINIC PRECAUTIONS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Dental Innovations

It has officially been six months since the Covid-19 pandemic has gripped India. It has brought with it waves of lockdown, panic, illness and changes within the home and workspace. It has been a time of staying socially distant, a time for retrospection and renewal, re-planning and re-prioritizing. None of these are easy, especially when you own a top notch dental centre. But adapting to change is crucial to any forward thinking dental practice. At Dental Innovations, patient care remains our top priority. But now more than ever, so does their overall health! We have put together a robust plan to help prevent Covid-19 spread within our practice, while still being available to physically consult, diagnose, treat and talk (and laugh) with our patients. The precautions we have in place are an amalgamation of protocols based on training from the WHO, Dental Council of India and the American Dental Association. Some of the steps we have in

place in our operatory rooms include:

  • Water line purification
  • Air purifiers with HEPA 14 filters and quick air renewal
  • One way valves in all aerosol lines
  • High vacuum high volume suction
  • Recommended chemical disinfection of working zone after aerosol procedures
  • Recommended chemical disinfection of dental equipment
  • A 6-step dental instrument sterilization protocol including autoclaving of instruments
  • Following recommended gaps between patients after surgical and high aerosol procedures
  • Rotating between multiple surgery rooms to allow for sufficient air renewal
  • Regular surface disinfection
  • Doctors are WHO certified in disinfection and sterilization procedures for medical work places

We are currently able to carry out almost all our regular and specialized dental procedures. We hope to serve all our patients well during these times. Stay safe, everyone!

Dr. Chaitali puts finishing touches on the braces of a patient. And then follows it up with a chat about life. And oral hygiene instructions.

Learning-3-new

LEARNING. GROWING. GIVING

Dental Innovations

The past year has been an exciting one. The dentists at Dental Innovations have worn many hats. We have attended continuing education courses on topics ranging from pediatric dentistry, sleep apnoea, implants, root canals, how to manage a great dental practice, treatment explanation and consent and sterilization protocols.

CELEBRATING WITH THE UNITED STATES CONSULATE

Dental Innovations

At the invitation of Mr. Edgard Kagan, United States Consul General, Drs. Rohit, Preeti and Chaitali celebrated the United States National Day. We had a great time chatting with friends and patients, soaking in the camaraderie and shaking a leg to the fabulous Victor and the Crowns. I think the pictures say it all!

The Top 6 Things To Ask Your Dentist

Dental Innovations

In order to make the most out of your dental appointment, a little planning goes a long way. The dental office can sometimes be an intimidating place where the dentist throws all this information at you at the speed of light. And you feel like you have very little time to understand, assimilate and gather your thoughts. And almost always, you think of important questions just after your have left the dental clinic!
